I have practiced in the area of Bankruptcy for a number of years, I never sold Bankruptcy as a solution but rather advised and helped those in need of debt relief under the bankruptcy court code and system. If it was needed and necessary, by all means avail yourselves to the protections afforded by the United States Government. If it is NOT the best alternative and you need to go elsewhere, that is okay as well. What matters is giving you the alternatives and letting you choose what you believe to be the best alternative and remedy to the problems you are experiencing.
