Bankruptcy Alternatives
Bankruptcy isn’t right for everyone. Wajda & Associates only provides bankruptcy debt relief services but the operator of this website* (“Our” or “We”) has Affiliates who provide information and services related to bankruptcy alternatives that Wajda & Associates isn’t able to offer. Our goal is to provide every consumer with the information they need so that they can choose the right path to financial freedom. Before considering any company providing an alternative to bankruptcy, read what the FTC has to say about coping with your debt, and make sure to check out the consumer protection portion of your state’s Attorney General website and your state’s consumer protection offices to make sure that the company you are considering has a good track record with consumers.

Debt Relief Information Websites
There are numerous sources for free information about various debt relief alternatives available through the Internet. These sources provide free information online. They also often work with numerous other providers of debt relief alternatives, including student loan resolution providers, debt settlement companies, tax resolution experts, credit counselors and other parties that may be able to help you with your debt. Student Loans
In many cases student loans cannot be fully discharged by bankruptcy and millions of Americans are struggling with student loan debt. In fact, across the country there are over 40 million people with student loans, totaling over $1.4 trillion in debt. We may share your information with service providers whose services are designed to help you find an affordable student loan debt repayment schedule. Program acceptance is subject to qualification and applications for DOE programs to reduce payments on federal student loan debt can only be approved by the DOE its contracted federal student loan servicers.
Tax Debt Relief
The Bankruptcy Code provides that in order for income tax debts to be discharged in bankruptcy, generally the tax debt would need to be for a tax year where you filed timely and truthful return and more than two years have passed since (See 18 USC section 523(a)(1). That means that very often bankruptcy will not help you with income tax debts. However, tax debt relief programs may be able to help you settle with the IRS and may save you tens of thousands of dollars. Experienced tax specialists can review your case with you and see how they can help you resolve your debt and negotiate with the IRS on your behalf. We may share your information with tax relief specialists who may be able to help you avoid the IRS from placing garnishments on your wages, levies and liens, penalties, and more. The IRS isn’t going away, so it’s important to act soon to resolve your back taxes.
Personal Injury
A personal injury lawsuit is a claim filed by or on behalf of a person who has suffered serious injuries or death. The claim may be filed against an individual or a corporation who has acted negligently. Anyone who has suffered a serious injury because of someone else’s irresponsible behavior may benefit from consulting with a personal injury attorney. Some examples of serious injuries include: broken bones, loss of a limb, loss of a fetus, injuries that require surgery, or death. We may share your information with personal injury law firms, who are national law firms focused on serious cases, including: Catastrophic Injuries, Wrongful Death, Personal Injury, Motor Vehicle Crashes, Truck and Tractor Trailer Crashes, Brain and Head Injuries, Medical Malpractice, Birth Injuries and Nursing Home Neglect. Most personal injury lawyers provide free case evaluations, and all work on a “contingency” basis, meaning that you pay them a percentage of your verdict or settlement. You may also be responsible for litigation expenses the firm has paid on your behalf.
