Attorney Phillips has extensive experience in many legal areas including bankruptcy, incorporation, employment law and general litigation including: investigations, depositions, settlement conferences, arbitrations, mediations, trial preparation, trials, appeals. She also has exceptional expertise in resolving high value and high profile cases and in handling complex legal issues.
She has done various general counsel work for non-profit organizations including: Martin Luther King Academy in Vineland and New Journeys in Recovery Drug Treatment in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Housing Authority (a quasi-governmental agency), and Providence Pediatric Medical Day Care (a for-profit). She also assisted the Executive Directors and Boards in steering the organizations through simple & complex legal challenges.
Attorney Phillips has also been a Contract Assistant Solicitor for local municipality working on resolutions, workman’s comp, drafting resolutions, risk management assessments and analyses, diversity training and contract procurement. She has provided on the spot legal research and analysis for management and board members and has worked closely with financial offices in condemnation proceedings.
Lastly, she has experience as an insurance defense attorney responsible for preparation of all pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, motions, NAF Arbitrations, regular meaningful communication with adjusters and insured, and dealing with CSG.
